Sellers pay to have their item/ product placed, as if it is a new item. This means the item / product will be kicked up to the first place on the landing page. Other items / products put online by other users will push the featured item / product down, as the new items / products are being put online. Of course, the item / product will have a top place for longer if a user searches the category where the item / product belongs.
